Marie Vaunt

Originally from Yokohama Japan, LA-based producer and DJ, Marie Vaunt, serves up darkly lovely brews of techno from her musical cauldron. She actually plays in two different musical acts: her “techno persona,” as Marie Vaunt, and also as one half of “Heavygrinder” with her husband, Katfyr, combining electro/house, dubstep and metal into one.

Marie’s musical influences cover the gamut of everything from The Cure and Duran Duran, to Danzig and Pearl Jam, to Aphex Twin and Jamiroquai…
